Volunteer

Volunteer service is an important part of membership in the Guild. New members are encouraged to indicate the areas in which they have special skills that would be useful in Guild activities. We’ll match your schedule to our needs. Donate your valuable time and skills to the Opera, and reap rewards like an annual reception honoring our volunteers and invitations to exclusive special events.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Helping at the Opera’s public events, social fundraisers, or award-winning educational programs
• Helping with clerical projects like mailings and various office tasks
• Working in the Opera Boutique during performances
• Opportunities to host visiting Opera stars
• Be an ambassador to our community for Austin Lyric Opera
